ABOUT

     On a visit home to Chicago he passed the land of enchantment, Albuquerque, New Mexico and immediately loved the city. It is when he decided to make this his new home. Here he opened his first restaurant bringing the californian style of mexican food. He is the pioneer of the 24 hour Mexican food restaurants selling food different from tje rest of the town.

     After having several locations throughout Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, New Mexico he was a victim of the recession and he had to close his doors. 

     Now in a new start he has opened a new location in the northwest area of albuquerque, inside the Cottonwood Mall food court. 

He is thankful the the Lord that with the help of his wife and daughters he is able to have a new beggining. His belief in the Lord has helped him be strong and know that his blessing will be greater than the first time around.   

 

Cuco's Kitchen 

       Mr Cuco Tapia is the owner and founder of Cuco's Kitchen of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mr. Tapia lived in Chicago, Illinois for 30 years, from there, he decided to make the move to San Diego, California where he grew to love the kitchen.
